That sums up my blogging experience. I've contemplated doing this for years. I even started a couple of times. Didn't see it through until now. I'm doing what I said I would do so bare with me. It's a process, right?

I should probably introduce myself. I go by Dee. Short and simple. I like it that way.

I teach.

I have kids. Four of them!

I'm married too. Just one husband though (he doesn't like this joke lol).

We live in Nevada. We moved here from California. Yes, we miss it and yes, it's hot. I gripe about it every single day of summer. BUT, Nevada allowed us to be homeowners at a fairly young age. So here we are missing the beach.

Wanderlust describes me best. I live for travel. If I can manifest one thing, it's to do this blogging thing while traveling the world.

All in all, this blog is a dream in motion. Sharing is the objective and helping is the intent. The Wanderer Years started out as the lessons of my life and the ways I've learned to nurture my mind, body and spirit. Turns out, I'm still figuring this thing called life out. I'm getting older, happier, and stronger though... These are The Wanderer Years.

This space is dedicated to the not so sexy parts of life. It's for those struggling to find a path. For those lost in a mistake, and those in need of a reminder that they’re not alone. (You're not alone!) Teen pregnancy, going back to college, career changes, living paycheck to paycheck... I’ve been there, I've done that. I'm here to fill the gap of unspoken realities and stop pretending we have it all figured out. It's hard, it's messy, but it's also beautiful and worth the struggle.

Here's to seeing things through!

Xx Dee
